1. Overview
Welcome to Built by Jayden Fabrication and Performance, operated by Auto Ease LLC, an Iowa-based automotive fabrication and performance parts business.
By accessing our website, purchasing our products, or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our applicable store policies.
Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.
2. Products and Custom Fabrication
Built by Jayden specializes in custom-fabricated automotive performance components, including turbocharger systems, exhaust components, and related products.
Many products are manufactured to order based on customer-selected configurations.
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing their selected options, product descriptions, specifications, and compatibility requirements before ordering.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure accurate product descriptions, photographs, and pricing. However, minor cosmetic variations may occur due to the nature of fabrication and manufacturing.
Any material difference affecting functionality or the agreed specifications will be addressed in accordance with applicable law.
3. Racing and Off-Road Applications
Certain products offered by Built by Jayden are intended for racing or off-road applications and are not represented as approved for public-road use.
Customers are responsible for understanding the laws and regulations applicable to their vehicles and intended use.
Products must not be installed or used in a manner that violates applicable federal, state, or local laws, including emissions and vehicle safety requirements.
Products may not be legally suitable for every vehicle, jurisdiction, or application.
A racing-use or off-road-use designation does not authorize modifications that are otherwise prohibited by law.
Built by Jayden reserves the right to decline or cancel orders where fulfilling the order would violate applicable law.
4. Installation and Vehicle Compatibility
Customers are responsible for confirming that their vehicle meets the compatibility and installation requirements identified in the product description.
Certain products may require additional modifications, specialized tools, professional installation, tuning, or supporting components.
For example, our Focus ST sidewinder turbo kits require battery relocation to provide appropriate installation clearance.
Improper installation, incorrect tuning, inadequate supporting components, or misuse can result in vehicle damage, mechanical failure, or personal injury.
We strongly recommend installation and inspection by qualified automotive professionals.
Nothing in this section limits liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
5. Made-to-Order Products and Lead Times
Our turbo kits and certain other fabricated products are manufactured to order.
Production times vary depending on current order volume, component availability, and fabrication requirements.
Most orders are expected to ship sooner, but customers should allow up to approximately 8 weeks from the date of purchase for production and shipment unless a different timeframe is clearly stated.
This estimate represents our anticipated production schedule and is not a guarantee of a particular delivery date.
If we cannot ship within the applicable shipping commitment, we will notify customers and provide the delay, cancellation, and refund options required by law.
Shipping transit time following carrier pickup is additional.
6. Orders and Payments
Payment is required at checkout unless another arrangement is expressly agreed upon.
By placing an order, customers authorize the payment of the displayed order total.
Prices, product availability, and configuration options may change without notice. Changes generally do not affect an already accepted order unless agreed upon with the customer or required by law.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders involving suspected fraud, payment issues, product unavailability, pricing errors, or legal restrictions.
If an order is canceled by Built by Jayden, an appropriate refund will be issued in accordance with applicable law.
7. Cancellation, Returns, and Refunds
All made-to-order turbo kit sales are final, except as required by applicable law or expressly approved by Built by Jayden.
Orders generally cannot be canceled or refunded because of a change of mind after purchase, even if fabrication or material purchasing has not yet begun.
Exceptions apply where required by law, including applicable rights relating to shipping delays, non-delivery, defective products, and incorrect items.
